A note on COVID-19 related worldwide shipping delays...

Hi Lofties!

As you may have seen in the news lately, there has been huge disruption to the world of shipping as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic – causing unprecedented delays across the globe due to a combination of lack of space on shipping vessels, global shortages of shipping containers and congestion at ports in both New Zealand and beyond.

Due to us being direct importers of our own exclusive ranges, we’re currently experiencing unprecedented delays to our shipping schedule. ETAs are becoming difficult to predict for our container shipments, as these delays are so unpredictable in their nature – due to nothing running quite as usual in the shipping world!

Overseas travel restrictions have also contributed to Kiwis spending more money on and in their homes rather than heading overseas – which has seen much higher demand than usual for us! These two factors together have created something of a "perfect storm." Many of the pieces on our website are selling out quicker than ever, and in some cases the next container has pre-sold prior to arriving.


At this point we strongly recommend pre-ordering your pieces to avoid disappointment – but we hope you can understand that there is no way for us to 100% guarantee when your product will arrive, despite all our best efforts!

In these times we’re doing everything we can to give you our most accurate and up-to-date estimated arrival for any product open for pre-order, and we endeavour to keep our customers informed of any delays as soon as we hear about them.

But please do be aware when placing a pre-order with us for any of our product not yet arrived, our ‘estimated time of arrival’ (ETA) dates are just that – estimates – and in times like these they are subject to changes that we unfortunately cannot predict. Rest assured we’re working as hard as we can to keep a steady supply of gorgeous furniture available, but there will continue to be disruptions to shipping schedules throughout 2021.

We understand first-hand how frustrating these delays can be, and we feel your pain – so more than ever we appreciate your patience and understanding in these trying times, and we are so grateful for your continued support!
