  • Please allow up to 3 working days notice for furniture items – as furniture may need to be brought to the store from our warehouse for collection!
  • Homewares pick-ups will be available the next day – unless the item is to be dispatched from our supplier (for some rugs, throws & cushions)
  • We recommend pick-ups during weekdays for the easiest and fastest service, as weekends can be very busy and there may be a wait for an available staff member.
  • If weekend pick-up is necessary, we request you come earlier in the day (between 10-12pm) in order to best avoid any delays or disturbance to other customers.
  • Pick-ups are from our front entrance – we have a carpark in front of the store, usually with ample space for trailers.

From our hand-picked collection of vintage handmade rugs comes this beautiful hand-knotted Turkish rug from the Anatolia region. These one-of-a-kind rugs are shaved down to a low pile, deep washed and then re-dyed (overdyed) in one color to give new life to a beautiful vintage piece. Perfect for adding an eclectic pop of style to any space - effortlessly modern and chic with a classic feel.

  • The natural colour variation (known as Abrash) is due to the natural dye used in colouring the wool.

  • Overdyed rugs have a low pile height making them great for all areas of the home.

Care Instructions: This rug is very special and should be cared for as such, it has been handwoven and hand-dyed. Although wool is a durable fibre you may experience some shedding, and please take extra care with liquids as any liquid spilled on the rug may cause bleeding of the dyes. For cleaning we recommend taking to a professional rug cleaner. Infrequent and gentle vacuuming is fine but the best care method is to give it a good shake outside to get the dust out!

Please note that this rug is over 50-years old, and some fading has occurred. This is not viewed as a fault, but rather as a detail that gives the piece character. It will fade further overtime, especially if placed in direct sunlight.
